The Theology of Worship

God desires, demands, and deserves the way we live our lives, what we value, what matters to us, to be offered to Him as an act of worship. And the way that we know how to worship Him is by living according to His Word.   

To profess to be a worshiper of God, but not seek to live by His Word, is to be a fraud.

To profess to be worshipers of God means that daily we are to give our first and best to the Lord—our best attention, our best affection, our best time and energy. 

How do we live in such a way that reflects David’s words here, “I will not give to the Lord and offering that cost me nothing?”
